Habitat & Pond CreationConserving and restoring herpetofauna habitats such as ponds is very important in the UK and is one of the many aims of the West Glamorgan ARG, but it is also vital that habitat creation occurs to assist population stability. Research into amphibian migrations have shown that they can only travel a limited distance, so more ponds and corridoors of suitable habitat are needed to connect up all the different populations within a given area.
